Lil Wayne is back with the much anticipated volume 2 of the free music download official mixtape project titled “No Ceilings”. The New Orleans emcee released this product to the streets on Thanksgiving 2015. This 24 song playlist has guest appearances by Yo Gotti, Euro, Lucci Lou, Baby E, Turk, Future, Jae Millz, Gudda Gudda, Shanell, Hoody Baby, Curren$y, King Los, and Steph.
Rick Ross released a retail album on December 4th titled “Black Market”. The official project titled “Renzel Remixes” dropped 1 week prior to his retail release. This product is a 2-disc effort with the Maybach Music Group boss remixing some of the hottest records released in the past. Features on this drop include Adele, 50 Cent, Yo Gotti, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Quise, Young Breed, The Weeknd, Scrilla, Lundee, Stalley, Fat Trel, Rockie Fresh, Gunplay, Wale, and Nas. In recent news, 50 Cent is attempting to sue Rick Ross over using his “In Da Club” track on the playlist.
Finally, Fabolous is also back in the official end of the year mixtape release party. The Young OG drops “Summertime Shootout” over the Thanksgiving holiday. Fabolous announced that his “Young OG Project 2” which was originally scheduled to be released on Christmas has been pushed back to a February Valentine’s Day release. He stated that some samples take longer to clear and also wanted to focus more on his “Summertime Shootout” release.
