Next in the series of mixtapes to be reviewed is by DJ Bando and DJ Shooter. These two are back to bring you part 3 in the “Overstate Trappin” collection. This is more of southern themed release with only street music on here. You can check out tracks by Bambino Gold, YG Hootie, Zed Zilla, Freddie Gibbs, Gunplay, Young Buck, Billiard, Young Star, Quavo, and many more on this 25-track dirty south drop.

If you haven’t already heard, Lil Wayne and Young Thug, who were once good friends, are now feuding. One of the reasons is because Young Thug wanted to name his debut album “Tha Carter 6”. He said it was a tribute to Lil Wayne, but the Young Money boss took offense to it. Over the weekend, Young Thug released the official mixtape titled “Barter 6” which you can stream and download free here. Since the two have beef now, DJ Capcom and DJ Subtance released a project titled “Weezy VS Thugga”. Based on this release, maybe you can decide who you think is better? Others featured on this include Migos, T.I., Drake, Rich Homie Quan, Peewee Longway, Offset, 2 Chainz, Flow, and Rich Gang.

Many people are already aware of Lil Wayne’s beef with Birdman as seen in this freestyle video.

Canadian native DJ Scratchez and Germany native DJ Easy team up to showcase the 40th edition of the “Diamond Cuttz” series. These mixtapes are always packed with the newest free music to hit the streets, as this one contains 50-tracks! Artists featured on this release such as Scotty ATL, Money Mafia, Mavado, Tyga, Wiz Khalifa, Keak da Sneak, Red Cafe, French Montana, Rico Love, Tyler The Creator, Sage The Gemini, and so much more. DJ Triple Exe, who hails from the United Kingdom, is back with the 44th edition in the “Street Kings” series. Other collections to look out for by Triple Exe are his “The Passion Of R&B” franchise and “Pure Winery”, which is a collection of Reggae music. On this release you will find new hip hop music by Jay Electronia, Dipset, A$AP Rocky, Fetty Wap, 2 Chainz, Future, Lil Durk, Rae Sremmurd, Rowdy Rebel, Bobby Schmurda, and other popular favorites.

Recently, Brooklyn native Fabolous has released some pretty nice freestyles alongside DJ Clue, whom he first did mixtapes with. The product titled “The Fresh Prince of Brooklyn” contains his latest freestyles, as well as some vintage freestyles. The first 3-tracks on this release are the freestyles he just released. It’s the middle of March 2015 and we are back again with another review of the hottest free music available. This past weekend was the celebration of St. Patrick’s Day with the official holiday on Tuesday the 17th. The Easter season is upon us, as well as nice weather and spring break, so be sure to check out these hot jams to keep you entertained and vibing.

The first release is the 5th edition in the “R&B On Demand” series. These mixtapes will always play you the top free music currently being played on the air waves. On this product, we have music by some of the industry’s most popular artists, such as Chris Brown, Rihanna, The Weeknd, Ciara, Usher, The-Dream, T.I., Tyga, Anthony Lewis, and also it seems the 90’s cover band that is making a comeback, Jodeci.

The next release is part 6 of the “Behind Closed Doors” collection sponsored by Street Runnaz Clothing. This drop, which plays you 17-tracks of the hottest slow jams, is hosted by DJ Five Venoms and The Syndicate DJs. Musicians making an appearance include Trey Songz, K. Official Projects To Look Out For

Many upcoming and signed artists release music to the streets as a way to keep in touch with their fans. Today we are going to review just a few of the many we have in our online selection.

One of the top hip hop groups to come out of the ATL this year goes by the name of Migos. The three members’ names of the group are Takeoff, Offset, and Quavo. Migos is currently signed to the Quality Control Music label and 300 Entertainment. In November, they released the official 18-track mixtape titled “Rich Nigga Timeline”. Although the group has done tracks with many of hip hop’s top recording artists, this release has no features and just has music from the three members. Producers laying beats down on this product include Mario, Zaytoven, Murda Beatz, Deko, Swift Bangs, TM88, Cheeze Beatz, and a few others. In other Migos news, it seems like Glo Gang stole Quavo’s chain. Below are pictures showing evidence of the beef between to the two.

Ca$h Out, who hails from Georgia and is signed to E1 Music, just released the retail album titled “Let’s Get It” on August 26th of this year. He was originally well known for the hit single “Cashin Out” and has since been featured on many mixtapes. The project titled “Kitchens Choppas” hosted by DJ Bobby Black and DJ Spinz was released just after his retail album debut which may be an indication that maybe these tracks did not make it on the album. Guest appearances on this project by OG Maco, Johnny Cinco, Bloody Jay, Rich The Kid, Snoop Dogg, Trouble, Problem, Kap G, and other music artists.

Wu-Tang Affiliate Inspectah Deck dropped the official product people have been waiting for titled “Cynthia’s Son”. This release gives you 19-tracks featuring classic and new songs. Look for appearances by Ida Divine, Babiegurl, and Chedda Bang. As with most Wu-Tang music, one of the major elements that people check for is the production. On the beats are Inspectah Deck himself (INS), Phantom of the Beat, Moss, Chin, Blastah Beats, DJ Homocide, Crummie Beats, and Bronze Nazareth.

Corner Boy P of Jetlife Recordings released an official mixtape titled “Amerikan Greed”. Appearances with the New Orleans native from label mates Curren$y and Mr Marcelo, Fiend, Neno Calvin, Ty Street, Wiz, and Mr Meanor. Purp Dogg produced all the beats on this project.

Another Wu-Tang member, Raekwon, releases his latest official effort titled “We Wanna Thank You”. This project features some of the newest works by the Wu-Tang rapper. The intro on this title is the classic “Wishing on a Star” track. This release is a refreshing masterpiece with familiar beats, new and old, remixed with the Wu-Tang touch put on it. Judging by the title, the production seems to be more of a tribute to the 1970’s era of music.

On October 21, 2014, Interscope Records dropped Chicago rapper Chief Keef. Keef shot to fame with the track “Don’t Like” and signed a deal with Interscope in June 2012. It appears things did not work out as planned and the two have separated ways. Since being released from Interscope, Chief Keef took to YouTube on November 10th to release four mixtapes with all the tracks on each combined into one full-length track. Most all have the same tracks with about only 2-3 different tracks on each. We have split each of those releases into individual tracks for easy searching, but the songs still have no title. Chief Keef has announced that the first official release will be on November 28th and is titled “Mansion Musik”. The mixtape featured in this blog, “Crashing Computers”, basically has all the tracks you are looking for on the other three releases.
