These are some of the hottest you will find to download for the 3rd week of October 2014.  The first is from one of the best DJs in the game, Big Mike, and is the “October 2K14 Edition” of the ever popular “R&B Jumpoff” franchise.  This release gives you the newest tracks from artists Tinashe, Mila J, Ne-Yo, Jeremih, Ray J, Jhene Aiko, J. Lo, Wale, Teyana Taylor, Tee Flii, Usher, Kid Ink, and many more artists that are both hip hop and r&b.

Next is a Street Runnaz Clothing sponsored release titled “The Usual Suspects-Big Sean Wiz Khalifa Curren$y Edition”.  The listed artists in the title are the main features with guest appearances by Nas, Rick Ross, ScHoolboy Q, Birdman, Gunplay, B.o.B., Juicy J, Snoop Dogg, Ty Dolla $ign, E-40, Lil Bibby, Jet Life, Lil Wanye, YG, Lil Boosie, and other top performing acts.  Street Runnaz Clothing also powers the next drop feature titled “ATLiens 2K14”.  This gives you tracks from Atlanta, Georgia industy artists Gucci Mane, Waka Flocka, Migos, Young Thug, T.I., Young Jeezy, Young Thug, Rich Homie Quan, Jermaine Dupri, PeeWee Longway, as well as a few other featured artist from outside Atlanta.

West coast rappers Berner and B. Real, formerly of the popular group Cypress Hill, get together and collaborate on the offical mixtape project titled “Prohibition”.  Featured along with the California rappers are Snoop Dogg, Devin The Dude, Vital, Wiz Khalifa, and Demrick.  Production by The BMMB, Joe Milli, Maxwell Smart, Berner, Cozmo, and Harry Fraud.

DJ Hektik is back with the 12th installment in the “Inspired By The Streets” franchise.  Artists appearing on this edition include Snootie Wild, Yo Gotti, Jeremih, Lil Boosie, 2 Chainz, P. Reign, Young Thug, Cam’ron, Meek Mill, Ab-Soul, Mac Miller, Raw Dizzy, Mac Miller, Rocko, TM88, Catte Blance, and many more on this 35-track release.

The final release to be reviewed comes from DJ Phantom with the 4th edition in the “R&B Drip” mixtape library.  This volume gives you blends and music from Jadakiss, Justine Skye, Trey Songz, Monica, French Montana, Alexis Rose, Elija Blake, Drake, Tamar Braxton, Jhene Aiko, Meek Mill, Omelly, Rochelle Jordan, Nikki Flore, and many others on this 38-track mixtape.

There is much to talk about with the reunion of hip hop group, G-Unit, at this years summer jam in New York City.  The four members returning are 50 Cent, Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks, and Young Buck.  It seems The Game was not invited to the reunion, but that’s ok because he left on his own back in 04-05.  Why invite him back anyways, he seemed too bullheaded and would just cause more problems than help with their success.  This mixtape is not an official release, as many hip hop fans are eagerly awaiting for.  Until then, have a look at this release with titles such as ‘Hated On Jesus’, ‘Ordinary’, ‘0 to 100 Freestyle’, ‘Nah I’m Talking Bout’, and also a few solo tracks by each of the G-Unit crew.
